Ria Murphy

My name is Ria Murphy and I will be returning to GEMS Metropole to begin my fourth year at this school. I began my journey in MTS as a Year 1 teacher and then completed two years as a Year 2 teacher. I am excited to begin my new role this year in the Inclusion team as a SEND Support Teacher. I was born and have grown up in Bedfordshire, England. I am a graduate of Middlesex University, London where I graduated with a Bachelors Honours (BA) degree in Primary Education with qualified teacher status and a specialism in Science. I also completed a specialist placement in a SEND school for three weeks during my training. I believe it is very important to provide a safe and stimulating environment for our students at school. I am able to support children of all abilities and believe it is important that every child has the opportunity to be confident and competent learners through their own learning styles in order to achieve their full potential.
